Vanguard 2 (or Vanguard 2E before launch) is an Earth-orbiting satellite released 17 February 1959 at 15:55:02 GMT, aboard a Vanguard SLV-4 rocket as component of the USA Navy's Project Vanguard. The satellite was developed to determine cloud cover circulation over the daytime part of its orbit, for a period of 19 days, and also to supply info on the density of the atmosphere for the life time of its orbit (regarding 300 years). As the initial weather condition satellite and also among the initial orbital space goals, the launch of Vanguard 2 was an important turning point in the Area Race in between the United States and the Soviet Union. As of March 2021, Vanguard 2 was still in orbit.
The Alpha de Call of Duty: Vanguard has begun and our expert in Cod, the author of Cod, Maik Schneider, went directly to the fight. He shows you the first impression of him and has also compiled some opinions of other experts to give you an image of Alpha.
What happens with COD? Slowly but safely, the release of the new Call of Duty: Vanguard is approaching and now the public can finally lend a hand to the new cod, which will be in stores on November 5. Because there is currently an alpha version for players who run on PlayStation.
I also made a few laps in Vanguard's gameplay and my first impression was: I ui, that is familiar. To explain it a bit, I will show you my first thoughts about the alpha test and some problems that the proven YouTube experts come with the new Vanguard.
Champions Hill convinced - but I see my opponents so badly again
What was good? I started a game right after the load screen and then I had to make the most important control settings at the beginning of the round, feeling a little stressed. Without the control vertically inverted, nothing works with the controller for me. I often forget it when I start a shooting game for the first time and that's where the usual sensations do not stop.
Already in my first movements I noticed that here I have everything under control: first the movement, then the shooting. Vanguard uses a renewed motor of Cod MW and, therefore, also Warzone. As I have been playing Battle Royale during longer or shorter phases from time to time since its launch, I immediately feel at home with Vanguard's gameplay. Without a lot of interruption, I slide safely around the corners and stable accurate blows. That gave a good feeling from the beginning.
Another point in favor is the new Champions Hill mode. They end up with an opposing team on a pretty small map and have to take their lives one another. A total of 8 teams are involved and all equipment have 12 lives at the beginning. If a team loses all their lives, the duo is expelled. By the way, Alpha only offers Duo at the beginning. Trio is still coming.
However, do not fight tenaciously during the 12th lives against a team. A match ends every few minutes and a new pair of random opponents is selected. That creates a good dynamic and keeps the game going. There were few campers and almost only turned full of action.
You also collect effective through murders and booties on the map and there is a purchase phase every few rounds. I can buy a new weapon at the supply stations, get equipment, take advantage and support my game. At some point there are only 2 teams to fight for victory in a final.
Victoria in the second round: Champions Hill is good for me
All in all, the small way, similar to a tournament, convinced me: it was difficult. You never went to the next battle for a long time, and Champions Hill offers opportunities for moderate and aggressive play styles. Due to short rounds, every few minutes was like starting a completely new game and entering battle with the confidence of a new round. That was very motivating and rarely transmitted frustration.
The combination of a coherent and well-known game and the Genial Game Mode gave me a good feeling from the beginning and it made me want more. But not without restrictions.
What was not so good? A problem that has persecuted me from the cold war is the scarce visibility of enemies in the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty. While enemies can be recognized quickly and intuitively in Warzone and Modern Warfare, I see the opponents in Cold War and I also find the phenomenon in Alpha of Vanguard. For me, after the start of the Cold War, that was one of the reasons why the title disappeared quickly.
In the case of Vanguard, the correct color balance of the background and the characters could influence. Whether they are maps or operators, everything in some way has an earthy brown tone and diffuses together. In addition, the screen becomes extremely dark if you suffer damage.

I would like to say that developers are certainly still modifying visibility factors. But with Cold War that changed shortly after the full throw and that's why I'm also skeptical this time.
Another point that impacted me negatively after the first turns was the permeability of the coatings. In the small maps I could shoot almost anything and an opponent behind the deck was not safe. However, the other way around also apply to me. I am about to reach the wing of the plane that someone has parked there, only to discover that the enemy can shoot me through the deck. Annoying.
If you want to try Vanguard yourself but do not have a PlayStation, the beta version for all platforms will begin on September 16. All information about beta can be found here.

Experts celebrate the ghost and audio of the steps: see but problems
What other opinions are there? To compare my impressions a little and get even more opinions, I looked for some videos of Cod experts.
Thexclsuiveace also criticizes the audio of weapons. Maps are configured in such a way that other teams nearby, but unattainable, also play their rounds. The shots of these areas were stronger than the shots of their own opponents. Nor does it enjoy the mechanics of the minimap, which is based on Cod MW.
Drift0R is particularly frustrated by the engendros. More often ended up in situations in which it appeared close or in the field of view of an opponent. After your first impression, the engenders could become a problem for the larger maps.
JackFrags is particularly remarkable by the lack of field of vision control in consoles. PC players can use it to expand the images section in the current cod and see more than the surroundings.
But the positive aspects, such as good movement and shooting are also emphasized. A change in the Ghost benefit also knows how to inspire: The players now have to move so that Geist protects against enemy recognition. The audio of the steps is also mentioned positively more frequently. It is likely that the steps are noticeably quieter in Vanguard and are no longer such an important factor in the detection of enemies.

Conclusion Vanguard Multiplayer Alpha: Warzone fans win
By
- The gameplay gives very good impression.
- Ghost no longer helps camping
- The steps are quite silent
- More mobile sighting that in Cod MW
- New fun game mode
- TTK lower than in the cold but higher war than in Cod MW
Against
- Pretty bad visibility, especially with damage.
- Very permeable covers
- Interferes with the audio of other fights.
- Minimap as in Cod MW
- Spoiled engendros again
- Heavy graphics degraded to PS4
My conclusion at the end: As a fan of the gameplay of Warzone and Cod MW, my first playful impression was very good. I concentrated on the central mechanics to get an idea of the most important aspects in the first turns. I really liked the gameplay along with the entertaining game mode, although the number with visibility is again a bit annoying.
In addition, there is a slightly shorter death time than in the cold war, which, however, is not as low as in Cod MW. Play well, without problems and at the high level of cod usual when it comes to battles.
However, there are always disturbing moments in which small mechanics break the fun experience. First, I must mention visibility, but permeable coatings are also a problem for me.
My general impression was good and Vanguard is still in alpha phase; There are still more than 2 months for the launch. Probably enough time to work on little things. I think that if you like the gameplay of Warzone or Cod MW, Vanguard will also go well. At least if you can accept the scenario, like me.
