Call of Duty Vanguard: Activation of the Alpha today

The start of the Call of Duty Vanguard Alpha is approaching: The activation is scheduled for tonight, at 19 o'clock, planned. Players on PS5 and PS4 then get the opportunity to try the new ego shooter for the first time. For participation, you need an internet connection and - in Germany because of age release - a membership in PS Plus. In the Alpha, you test the new Champion Hill mode, introduced the Sledgehammer Games around the announcement of the new ego shooter. The variant can be described as a kind of evolution of the well-known Gunfight modes. However, you are not on a small card, but a larger map, which is divided into four areas.

Your Squad - in Alpha either a duo (2V2) or a trio (3V3) - occurs in a round-based Deathmatch tournament against other squads. Of course you can try some of the weapons in Vanguard Alpha and modify partly with up to ten essays. All players start with the same equipment. For the defeat of opponents, your money gets, which you can acquire new weapons, equipment, extras and shooting series in sales rounds between the lots. Alternatively, you collect the loot of fallen soldiers. The Alpha is a next taste of the final game. Other modes, maps and weapons will be seen in the upcoming beta in September and the publication of the game on 5 November, writes Sledgehammer Games.

Call of Duty Vanguard: Play Before Release - Alpha Test Coming shortly on PS5 & PS4

Sledgehammer Games is the first information about the Champion Hill mode in Call of Duty Vanguard. In the near future, an alpha starts on PS5 & PS4.

For September 7, the developers have announced another multiplayer presentation of Call of Duty Vanguard (Buy 2 € 29.99). Then a beta takes place. The test phases run on two weekends: from Friday, September 10, to Monday, September 13, and Thursday, September 16, until Monday, September 20th. The first weekend (10th-13th September) is intended for PlayStation owners who have pre-ordered the game. After that all other players can mix on PS, Xbox and PC in the beta. The full version will be published on 5 November.
