NEW WORLD: Update 1.0.4 reactivates server

Good news for New World fans who would like to transfer their character to another server: Patch 1.0.4 reactivates the server transfers after the developers had to switch off the feature due to technical problems in the meantime. However, the update not only includes this important service, but also fixes a whole series of bugs and exploits in the game.

The team deals with Update 1.0.4 concretely to the War Exploit, which is caused by magic effects with area effect. In addition, the developers fix a serious bug that makes players invulnerable. Finally, there are changes to the fraction brand limit and solutions for a whole range of smaller bugs.

Update 1.0.4 will be released on October 28, 2021 at 07:00 clock German time (Central Europe region, US East, South America and AP Southeast). The server transfers should be tested for testing for the US West region and then become active from 23 pm of German for all other regions. How long the maintenance work will last for the update remains open.

UPDATE 1.0.4 Fixes the most important issues that our players had in recent weeks, especially those who affect wars. Schedule for the reactivation of outdoor post tower and server transfers

After the end of the interruption for importing Update 1.0.4, we will reactivate outdoor ostens tower and server transfers at the following times.

Server transfers

US West is activated after completion of the interruption by Update 1.0.4 at 11 o clock MESZ (9 o clock UTC). After watching server transfers in the US West region and ensured that no problems occur, we will activate it for the remaining regions at 11pm CEST (21 clock UTC). No server restart is required.

South America: at 11am CEST (9 o clock UTC) after the end of the interruption by Update 1.0.4.

General changes

The Cast starting beach has been removed to lead new players through the other 3 places and to increase the likelihood that new players and friends can start together. General troubleshootings

Preliminary bug fixes

Below is preliminary bug fixes and improvements. Our goal is to install these changes in the game and to see if the bugs have been resolved or still exist so that we may continue to work on them and to fix them in an upcoming update.
